Frank Bennett Diary Entry

Monday, 3 October 1921

Monday. Got up at 6.45 am. Washed, dressed, and shaved. Then got breakfast ready. Leah [Leah Hirsig] still ill. Finished reading The Butterfly Net [Mooonchild]; it is one of the most delightful books I ever read. The psychology in it is infinitely better than anything I have ever read in a novel. I feel better for having read it. It has put the thought of my own family troubles out of my mind. 10.30 took a walk until 12. Afternoon started learning 'Liber VII.'
