Frank Bennett Diary Entry Saturday, 8 October 1921
Saturday. Got up at 6.45 am. Dressed and washed. Leah [Leah Hirsig] better. Had breakfast at 7.30. Pentagram at 9.30, myself in the East. Read Nietzsche until 10. From 10 to 11, sat in meditation, inflaming myself with invocations, to get the full consciousness of the Absolute Self. Dinner at 12. Returned at 1.30, read Nietzsche until 2. From 2 to 3, sat in meditation, again trying to inflame myself with invocations, for fuller consciousness of the Absolute Self; had a feeling of greatness of power. Took a walk from 3 to 4. Read Nietzsche again until 5, tea at 5.10. Pentagram at 6.30. Self in the East. 7.30 to 8.30, sat in meditation, inflaming myself with invocations, to get a fuller consciousness of the Absolute Self.
