Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

M[orning Meditation]. R.R. et A.C. [] 19 m[inutes]. 7 breaks.

A[fternoon Meditation]. Tried to imagine the Sound of a Waterfall. Very difficult to get at all: makes one's ears sing for long afterwards. If I got it really, it was not strong enough to shut out other physical sounds. Tried puff-puff of an engine. Better, but got skin of head vibrating in time. Tried to imagine taste of chocolate. Very difficult indeed. Tried tick of watch. Rather good. Tendency to clow up (with Saturn ear). East to test by approaching watch again to ear. An idea to imagine taste smell feeling and sound in a similar way to sight. Pendulum. After 3 m[inutes] lost control and gave up.
