Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Tuesday, 16 April 1901
Travelled to Amecameca.
E[vening] 10 P.M. Enclosing myself in an egg of white light I travelled to Hong Kong. This city is white and on a rocky hill—lower parts narrow and dirty.
Fidelis [Elaine Simpson] in room of white and pale green. She was dressed in white soft stuff velver lapels. We conversed awhile. I tried to lift a cloisonne vase from shelf to table. ? success. I said Vale, Soror! aloud and I think audibly. Remained some time.
This astral projection is an operation of Chokmah: for the Chih must vivify the Nepesch shell. After returning I saw my M[agical] M[ap] of the U[niverse] very clearly in its colours.
