Alice weeping much. My heart very sad and sore but my thoughts turned to the Above.
We put up at the Maples Hotel, Yokohama.
Heard from Fidelis [Elaine Simpson]—she in first pangs of travail. She will be glad to see me—in October.
Set up my shrine.
