On board S.S. Comilla for Akyab [Burma].

     

Let me establish a portion of my mind and call it the Supreme God, and attribute powers of healing, protection, and other useful things to it: thus letting a Skanda mould Skandas.

     

Dream—partly lascivious. Of the annoying kind where at the very last stroke something interferes.

On the 12th February I went on board the Komilla for Akyab, where Allan [Allan Bennett] was now living. In the course of the day the sea air completely restored me to health.
