Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

At night began Mahasatapatthana on impulse. It is easy to get into the way of it: as a mantra which does not interfere much with sense-impressions, but remains as an undercurrent. It was on breathing, and my nose is somehow wrong. Noticed some pain and some other phenomenon which I have now (17th) forgotten. A lesson to keep a note-book handy. N.B. There is a tremendous astral whir on in temple.
