After some desultory M[ahasatipatthana] while fishing I sat down on the rug at 10 h[ou]rs 18 m[inutes] 20 s[econds] by my watch, and wrote the beginning. I decided to do M[ahasatipatthana] (on breathing, as before) and began this at 10.20/ 10.50 stopped: went bedward after writing:

(1) Breathing gets deeper, rather sleepier (I am tired).

(2) Notable throbbings in Ajna and front of brain generally; esp[ecially] with inspiring.

(3) Tendency to forget what I am doing (? Fatigue).

(4) Very bad con[centratio]n but better than expected.
