Trying to arrange passage, business, etc. W[itowsky][1] promised me change for a cheque or bill; in evening went back on it. We shall see.
Archibald Little dined: a nice old man, with sensible views.
A∴[2] very bad indeed; worried by business.
A. [Elaine Simpson] has secrets from me; not good enough for working together.
