Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Wednesday, 25 April 1906

N.B. Yesterday's vision a real illumination, since it showed me an obvious mistake which yet I had utterly failed to see. The word in my Kamma-work [in Burma] was A and the method "invoke often"! Therefore a Self-glittering One, whether my conscience approves or not, whether my desires fit or not, is to be my guide. I am to invoke often, not to criticize. Am I to lose my grade of 7º=4o? I cannot go wrong, for I am the Chosen One: that is the very postulate of the whole Work. This boat carries Caesar and his fortunes.

Left Kobe at noon.

A[1] fair to good; but attention wandered after I [Invocation].

Suggestion of fasts to aid.

1—This indicates the Invocation of Augoeides.
