Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Tuesday, 17 July 1906
This thinking seems little or no good: but the fault is that the real Crowley is actually thinking of A∴[1]. When he is, the invocation was unnecessary; when he isn't it's feeble. What am I to do? (Should suggest sticking to it.)
Jones [George Cecil Jones], coming on Wednesday, agrees Ritual is a help if so.
1—This indicates the Invocation of Augoeides.
