Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Tuesday, 11 July 1916
Heard from S.H. Frater Nemo [Charles Stansfeld Jones], 8º=3o, of His attainment of That Grade. This removes a bar to my full grade of 9º=2o.
(I had heard before, by wire, on descending from the train at Bristol; but I had a blind fit on.)[1]
1—Crowley was previously notified by telegram on his arrival in Bristol, New Hampshire, but apparently failed to understand Jones’ somewhat cryptic message.
