Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Tuesday, 3 October 1916
I note the period March 29 to Aug. 22 as that in Egyptian rituals where one has a lot of small gods in the pylons. So here I had officers monkey [Alice Coomaraswamy], rat, owl [Gerda von Kothek], frog, and ram. These will presumably dovetail to prepare the next period.
