Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Rex de Arte Regia

Sunday, 26 August 1917

Opus[1] XXII

11.00 a.m. Siddhi begins.

As XIV [Anna Katherine Miller].

Object: The Siddhi.

Operation: admirable but Elixir not good. I am quite inclined to believe that the XI° is better than the IX°.

Mental concentration: not very good.

Opus XXIII

10.30 p.m.

As XIV [Anna Katherine Miller].

[Object] The Siddhi.

A difficult Operation, owing to over-excitement etc. p.v.n.[2]

Climax superb. Elixir, extraordinarily sweet and strong.

1—[Crowley performs a magical sexual operation.]

2—[Per vas nefandum. By the unmentionable vessel, i.e. anal intercourse.]
