Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Tuesday, 3 February 1920

9.00 a.m. Opus[1] II, 31-666-31 [Leah Hirsig], p.v.n. [per vas nefandum].[2] Opus spontaneous and very strong. Elixir, very rich and strong. Object: Inv[ocation] ∏AN. P.S. This seems to have started my Art, which had staled.

It is to be observed that although no more silent, I am still non-attached. I am waiting without the least anxiety or eagerness for a new Current or a Word. I don't even seek an Oracle.

1—[Crowley performs a magical sexual operation.]

2—[By the unmentionable vessel, i.e. anal intercourse.]
