Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Wednesday, 7 July 1920

6.00 p.m. I am on board the [steamship] Solerno, having been stripped of all my purchases; my non-attachment is working overtime, but quite contented. I woke with fatigue, despite a long night's rest, and my thoughts were gloomy and irritable. This disappeared entirely on taking a small dose of morphia.
