1.50 A.M. Opus[1] III 31-666-32 [Leah Hirsig]. Op[eratio]n 3 1/2 hours absolutely continuous work—astonishingly varied—climax perfection. El[ixir] Marvellous good. Obj[ect] As stated above.
Maitland [Cecil Maitland] and Mary [Mary Butts] left by the 10.55 A.M.
Spent the day eating and sleeping: slept also all night, about 13 hours plus the 3 hours in the afternoon.
