[John] Stenning vanished after breakfast. The Head Porter told us he had written a suicidal letter in his Italian grammar.
We returned to Cefalu by the 1.30 and wrote to McBean (Sir Chartres Bien regrets that he cannot believe Bottomley on his oath. See Liber 418 [The Vision and the Voice], 1st Aethyr.)
