Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Sunday, 25 December 1921
Painted hard all day—after a bad night. Tried to paint yestreen's sunset: n[o] g[ood] (It is as wrong to try to copy the artist Nature as any other artist). But a small panel "The Breaker" pleases me very much. I worked on several other things, to FINISH them.
