What line shall I take about providing money for carrying on the G. W. [Great Work]? [I Ching Hexagram] K[teis] of P[hallus] XI Thai. Thwan. Use big ideas.

          

[Line] 1. Start a new current.

[Line] 2. Tact, courage, self-reliance, non-attachment.

[Line] 3. Be firm; and take things as they come.

[Line] 4. Appeal frankly to friends and neighbours.

[Line] 5. Avoid pride.

[Line] 6. Use due economy.

     

Painted, drew, discussed business with Giosue. I can't say exactly why it has seemed a poor day: but I think I started by self-reproaches for sleeping too late.
