Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Monday, 22 October 1923
11. a.m. Much rested and refreshed. A day of inexplicably High Spirits. I plan a three-day's Little Magical Journey—chiefly for Alostrael's [Leah Hirsig] health and pleasure—the Great Dunes. We are to take provisions, a camel and man, and Mohammed ben Brahim: to walk all night and sleep all day. It is the Full Moon on Wednesday about Sunset; the colours of the sand ought to be beyond all Enchantment.
A proposal of M. Grech[1] to "flap my wings in the face of Mohammed and blind him"! The Yi [King] approves it, on certain conditions. It should be first of all a Stroke for Thelema.
1—Manager of the Hotel Djerid.
