11. p.m. Another idle day. Bab collapsed rather badly after dinner—the first time in days. No assignable cause. She picked up and went to the cafe as usual: then a longish stroll across the Oasis to a wide space under the stars, where I performed—Between 8.45 and 9.30 p.m. Opera III[1] and IV[1]. Mode XI° (in inl 'Act XII')  -----666. Op[eratio]n: Excellent. E1: Absorbed 'enp (Greek) Object Alostrael [Leah Hirsig] to have reserves of young elastic energy; the quick recuperative power of youth like the "12mo Jesus" employed in opera.

 

P.S. 24 hours later. I note some change of the kind willed.
