3.30 P.M. Indicate proper policy to pursue at present in re. Geo Cecil Jones [George Cecil Jones]. [I Ching Hexagram] Earth/Air XVIII Ku. Troublesome services to perform. Make as much trouble for him as possible. After weighing well the events of the past and settling on plans for the future.
Line 2 Don't push victory to utmost. As soon as we have the upper hand, make quick settlement. Get rid of Jones altogether. Line 6. Attend personally superintending administration of funds. Challenge Jones's position from the start. Ku—Appendix I. The central idea of Ku is to end confusion and establish Order.
7.5 P.M. Beatrice Cenci and Pompilia. How is it that English poets, actually living in Italy, impose the psychology of psychopathic English virgins (and at that it's hypocrisy 9 times out of 10) upon Italian girls? The case of Beatrice is especially absurd as she was her father's mistress for 3 years or so before she murdered him. ? Is this an English sexual perversion to have wish phantasms of flappers who object to love. I have known so many girls first taught love by Father, Uncle, or Brother, that I don't believe in the Incest Complex as normal or natural at all.
