Note that Margaret [Margaret Binetti] has been of late hinting secrecy as to our engagement. It is abjectly silly, as Princess Galitzin [Aimée Gouraud], Reggie Gourmand, Lawrence Felkin, Jane Wolfe etc.——constantly found her in my hotel bedroom at the Atlantic! Also of course I had told my friends immediately of the engagement.
