Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Thursday, 17 March 1927
Note. Today (March 17) I met a snake in the forest. It was dead. Later, a lizard came to me some 15 yds across rocks, and sat on my foot! Also, a lady bird perched on my stocking, and took a free ride. Mara was with me.
