Rushing madly all over London to raise funds for the journey. Did so.
Aumont [Gerard Aumont] turned up: he is a very good man.
Yorke [Gerald Yorke] dreadfully nervous and weak.
Invented the Jade Princess; she was a miracle of beauty, and won every one's heart.
