Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Friday, 12 September 1930

Fri[day] 12.

12.2 A.M. Op[us] of Sept 11. 2 1/3 hours, woke us up completely: to paint, etc.

Walked to Cascaes and Boca do Infierno. I wish the W[est] coast of Scotland could see it: it hasn’t had a good laugh for a long while. Cascaes v[ery] interesting. Fort, marker, etc. Very tired at night, and she had a melancholy fit. Drank a little brandy and went off to sleep.

The diarrhoea-tree

Fish at Cascaes: common. Flat. V[ery] silvery (Called so [because] whole fish looks like a broad sword blade.)
