4.20. Room v.[ery] cold. Slight cough, motion on loose side, but controlled. Worked hard all day: v.[ery] tired, and diarrhoea persistent.
Karl's [Karl Germer] birthday—great dinner at Eden.
11.20 P.M. Anu [Hanni Jaeger] rings up from Wolf’s clinic in great distress, as usual. Wants to come round to-night.
