The most delightful day for months. Anu [Hanni Jaeger] to lunch at Halmer’s: new(?) style—think she’s Anita Berber! Idiot! Took her to Wiener Cafe—in come Germer [Karl Germer] and Louise [Louise Aschaetzsch] to talk business.

Germer went off in a huff; I took Louise to dinner—couldn’t get out of it. And, Lord! how she did eat! To save her face, I suppose. It was a royal whack I dotter her!
