Motored to Buckow. Gorgeous lake with hills all complete; but Karl's [Karl Germer] meanness chose the worst place to bathe from.
Called Renate [Gottsched] to make Magda [Becher] jealous. Continued campaign by getting rid of her and returning to talk to the proprietor of buying (?) his beastly restaurant.
