S.W. [Scarlet Woman—Bertha Busch]
Karl [Karl Germer] brought down the books after all.
Called on Karl and Cora [Cora Germer]—both perfectly insane. I was very calm and Polite; took no notice when he thrust his face into mine and wanted to murder me—U.S.W.!
Opus[1] 42. Success to Show. Both v[ery] nervous; slow to start and quick to finish. Oh for a quiet life!
