Working with Hamilton [Gerald Hamilton] on Berlin book[1].
Initiation is never what you think it is going to be: if it were, you would already be initiated. (Cf. value of element of surprise as a test of the objectivity of the objectivity [?] of phenomena.)
1—The 'Berlin' book referred to by Crowley was meant to be the memoirs of Crowley's experiences with Gerald Hamilton while living in Berlin. The book was never written.
