Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Monday, 27 February 1933
VI. [Crowley begins week six of his "Purification for the Elixir."]
Report of 5 weeks.
Sex-life v. actively restored—day after 2nd dose Amrita. Stricture wholly gone. Asthma much changed in character—distinctly better, but persists. Thoughts all robust and juvenile e.g. I think naturally of ski if it snows; I want to walk rather than ride etc., etc. Irritated (7 a.m.) because I can’t go and take exercise!
Everything went wrong all day.
Opus[1] 13. Health esp. bronch. Very tired. This immortal masterpiece was a triumph of enthusiasm, intelligence, patience, and technique.
1—Crowley performs a magical sexual operation.
