Saw Clifford Bax, who told me of Prof. Battiscombe Gunn. Queen's College Oxford.
Czardas 8 Lady H. [Frieda Harris] & Esmé Percy. Too noisy: went on to Escargot [L'Escargot Bienvenu] for admirable meal. Talked till 12. All o.k. but it looks like a long job.
