[I Ching hexagram] 55.

     

2.35 A.M. Margot rang up, said she was at Richmond P.O. in a taxi.

     

2.40 Let her in.

     

2.50 Taxi-driver wants his money. She said she had paid him. He said he would fetch a policeman. And so on!

     

Very quiet all day.

     

Wrote some letters.

     

Frost & fog continue, very bad.
