Mrs H. blundered with the oven: my capon took hours to cook ([I Ching Hexagram] line 3!).
Worked hard on Tarot [The Book of Thoth].
Fine walksome day, but I got v.[ery] tired.
Tea with Lesley: Aylmer & Mrs. Vallance. Oh how dull! Lesley’s mind is stuffed with 2nd hand 2nd rate furniture.
Depressed at no news from Saturnus [Karl Germer] or Frieda [Frieda Harris].
Mrs H. broke a bollon ([I Ching Hexagram] line 4).
