Letter from Saturnus [Karl Germer] dated May 10. He expected immediate arrest.[1]

Various futile calls on silly papers.
1— On 10 May 1940 Karl Germer was arrested while living in Belgium and transferred to a French concentration camp where he stayed until February 1, 1941 when he received a visa with the assistance of his wife, Cora Germer, and emigrated to the United States.
