Minor noises started again 12.15.

All quiet from about 1 o’c. & I slept, but woke before 2 with much wheezing—& oh! so awake!

3.15 Bombs again, but very unusual sequence of sounds. Some gunfire.

4 o’c.: still at it.

5.30 [Air raid] All Clear.

[Air] Raids No 101 8.55-9.7 A.M., 8.3 P.M.-

Opus^[1] Alice [Alice Florey] I.O.D. To be prepared in all ways to receive the Word of in [Word of the Equinox]. I have rarely in my life seen a woman so gloriously happy.
