Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

[I Ching hexagram] 46.

[Dr.] Lodge came. Heart O.K. when all things are considered.

No general anaesthetic for teeth; spinal in case of abdominal op[eratio]n.

P.S. I think that my decision to call in Lodge was really my first step towards getting rid of [Sophie] Burt. I.e. on Feb. 20 I had made up my mind. It seems to have been a definite warning from my H.G.A. [Holy Guardian Angel]. as I had nothing rational to go on, & (consciously) needed Burt’s attention more than ever.
