Chess v.[ersus] Mrs. Holloway 3-1. (The first game I was anxious, as I was waiting for the House Agent—R. . . . . of G.R. Smith & Son—to call for me. He refused to disturb me, & I couldn’t get him later; so house contract is still in abeyance.)
