[Captain] Plant to chess 1-0 & then practice openings. His wife expects him every day etc. like Nelson! The first care of every husband should be to see that his wife has a full crew of lovers.
Major Abbot Young to supper & bed—till Monday.
Wrote to Lodge [Agape Lodge] re. California etc.
