[I Ching hexagram] 29.

     

Feeling dull, advanced 1/6 [Heroin] to 2 1/2 P.M. thinking to repeat. But no desire arose. (11 1/2 P.M. now).

     

Major A.[bbot] Y.[oung] very hot on grouse, & very poignant on Plymouth. I like him.

     

Churchill’s broadcast excellent—Woolton Pie!! (I consider this a really good joke. Anyhow, what he didn’t say would make quite a booklet.
