[I Ching hexagram] 32.
Notes to Opus[1] of last night. Characteristics of orgasm much changed. Violent attack of constriction of chest.
X. [Grace M. Horton] impossible all day. Finally I insisted on Dr. Earl coming up. He did this about 11 P.M. Very scared of me at first: soon got off his high horse. X is to go to stay with him & Mrs. E.—starting to-morrow morning.
The whole day marred for Alice [Alice Florey] by this stupid fuss. However, we had a pleasant walk, called on A.[ir] R.[aid] P.[recautions] Warden Beynon, Oakey, Church Road, who seemed satisfied.
