Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Monday, 7 July 1941

[I Ching hexagram] 42. (see June 14). Inreasing! None visible but worry!

No answer from F.H. [Frieda Harris], Alice [Alice Florey], or Asa.

Pleasant canoe with Pam. Borrowed 2/- from her to buy rations ditto 10/- from Mrs. Hatchett.

The harridan, after being perfectly pleasant all day, suddenly wanted to get rid of me again. I think she just broods over anything or nothing until her bile boils over—presently she’s sorry. A curious case.
