Woke (11.45 P.M. Saturday) from queer pleasant dreams, but still alarmed about intermittent pulse.

     

Took extra [Heroin] restored physically & morally.

     

Vive la France! Vive la France! . . . . seems possible. Wrote first stanza: see p. 1 of Memoranda supra. P.S. 2 A.M. Couldn’t stop—finished it, after a fashion.
