[I Ching hexagram] 62.

4 Woke from dreams of getting Tarot out. Rossevelt & Co intimately involved.

4 1/4 241 [asthma symptoms] bad (1)[Heroin] quite inadequate.

5 o’c (2)[Heroin].

9 o’c (3)[Heroin].

11 1/4 (4)[Heroin]. This was due to the familiar exasperated impatience about nothing which seems to be due, chiefly, to solitude: this AM reinforced by rain.

Terrific moules marieres at C.R. [Café Royal]: back to Cigar & Fine:

Slept heavily 2 1/2-4 1/4 (5) this was really bad temper (or extra good temper!) laziness, self-indulgence and so on.

MAS [Maurice A. Sutherland] chess. Felt well & played very well

1 o’c M&A[tropine] still (I fear) rather in the holiday spirit.
