Really 1st class lunch at Oddy’s—Boar’s Head & Moka Baarvis(?): pre-war, both! & excellent coffee.
2 3/4 some 241. (4)[Heroin].
Christ-Child [Vyvyan Deacon] came in.
7 o’c 241 starting M&A[tropine].
Christ-Child back with one Matthews, who knows Siam well. Interesting talk.
Restless, disinclined for sleep.
Greatly guilty, I decide on a small (5)[Heroin] 9.15.
