[I Ching hexagram] 27.

Sleep with light 7 fire on.

Woke 5 241 [asthma symptoms] (1)[Heroin].

6 3/4 (2)[Heroin].

Working madly on Juggler: [artwork for Tarot card] breathing definitely affected.

Finished letter to Saturnus [Karl Germer].

Gave Miss H.[ubbard] £20.

Nice [Mercury ] from Bruce [Bruce Blunt].

9 3/4 (3)[Heroin].

12 (4)[Heroin].

2 1/4 (5)[Heroin].

All in view of F.H. [Frieda Harris] visit at 2 1/2 and she called it off! Then, asked me to the “Anglo-Polish Ballet”. Venice in London by Imre Kiralfy (?) Earl’s Court Exhibition was the same, but you could ride in a real gondola for sixpence. Stalls cost £1.10.0!!!

6 o’c (6)[Heroin].

F.H. kept me talking till utterly done. So (7)[Heroin] at 9 o’c.

Bad luck about this all day.

Night porter returned “sincerely penitent”—”My sick grandchild”. The fool woman gave him another chance? Police in, naturally.

Accepted the new Juggler, provided my suggestions are carried out satisfactorily.
