[I Ching hexagram] 51.

R.C. [Robert Cecil] complains of a return of insomnia—blames me, of course! Wrote long reply.

Lunch 12 1/2 at Picc[adilly] Brass[erie]. An excellent meal Homard Mornay and Glace Panachee—some panache! Talked him out of the worst of his cold feet: no, that isnt’ fair; he’s just plagued with dull FO a no-wife, a squalling girl baby, & insomnia. Prescribed Aka dua.

Excited day: got impatient, hence Tot 1 3/4 [Heroin] plus an emergency at 4 AM.

I do wish my affairs would straighten out. If I “press” I’ll slice into the whins(?)!
