Got safely away—no effort, as expected, to make me miss my train. Poor General Hogg [husband of Deborah Hogg] indeed paid for the taxi; and we went up together by the 8.65 to Waterloo.
Tub [Alice Upham] at Piccadilly Brasserie. A1 lunch.
Returned to 140 Piccadilly quite exhausted.
